The new Shoprider lift chair features a heavy-duty steel lift actuator and scissor mechanism, allowing a smooth transition from sitting to sleeping to standing in a quiet, flowing motion. The chair is cushioned with Reflex TM environmentally friendly foam, and the head and arm rest covers are composed of stain repellent micro fiber fabric.
In the event of a power outage, the chair is able to run on a battery back-up (two 9V batteries, not included), while under normal circumstances, the transformer connects to a standard electrical outlet and features an LED indicator when the power is on. A convenient pocket on the side of the chair is ideal for storing magazines or other neccessities.
