Loved it-but it fell apart!
Review by Caregiver Mom (Posted on 5/21/14)
I loved this chair!! But it fell apart! The hard plastic feet paddles broke right away (ripped, yes, ripped) and many months later the pieces that hold the seat in place fell out on one side. [...]This chair could be AWESOME if they just replaced the shoddy feet rest and plastic doles(or whatever they are) with better weight bearing parts. The frame and fabric (vinyl) are very nice and hold up exceedingly well. My daughter that used the chair weighs approx.150 lbs and she is multiply handicapped so she is not able to abuse the chair (she just rides in it). It was so easy on me!!I was heartbroken that it fell apart.

I have found this lightweight wheelchair very versatile for travel. I have just returned from a cruise, and it worked very well on the ship with my daughter pushing me. I was also able to paddle on my own for some of the trip. We also used it, very effectively, off the ship in ports. In addition, the airline loved it, and we had many inquiries. This is a very useful and inexpensive way to get around.
Easy to use, lightweight, sturdy

I use this transport chair to help my Mom make short trips. We use this going on quick trips to the store, to visit family/friends, to make appointments. It's lightweight, easy and comfortable to use. I would definitely recommend it!
Extra wheelchair purchased & kept in NY
Review by Raisinet (Posted on 1/27/14)
The inexpensive price of the this durable chair urged me to purchase one and have it sent to & kept at my son's house in Buffalo, NY. When my wife and I travel there for visits, it is readily available. Being lightweight and compact makes storing easy and the hassle of checking it with our luggage on flights is eliminated.
Very happy with this product.

I take care of my (almost) 90 yr.old dad. He can walk with a cane or walker, but is getting more and more feeble. This chair is a lifesaver. If we're out somewhere and suddenly he can no longer walk, I just go to the car and easily lift the chair out of the trunk and the problem's solved.
Great traveling compact wheelchair

Wheelchair folds very compact and great for traveling. Wheels spokes need to be metal not plastic for better durability.
Very easy to handle and comfortable

Now when I spend time with my dad, he can stay out longer. Go places that we used to avoid. We zip in and out of stores.
Traveling was a Breeze with Transport!

We spent several weeks in the USVI spending lots of time at the beach. This was easy to fold up and carry over the sand. It was small enough for the aisles in the souvenir shops. We couldn't have done the trip without the Transport chair.

We use this for nearly daily doctor visits for my father, a cancer patient. My father uses it as a walker until he gets tired and then he can sit and ride the rest of the distance to the office. It is easy for my mother to lift and maneuver - it makes her more independent and less reliant on others (me and my sister) to help with his care.

Right now the chair is hanging in the garage. I am handicapped and use a cane and wear AFOs. There have been times in the past when I have fallen that I needed a wheelchair. This is a perfect answer.

It is great for a trip to the Mall. I can't do much walking due to spinal disease. My husband really likes it because the handles are higher than a traditional wheelchair so he doesn't have to lean over any when he pushes me. I'm really pleased with it.
Backup when wheelchairs not supplied

Only one problem. Width of seat does not include inside of chair arms. Difficult to get in and out of seat with winter coat; No other complaints. Fine chair.
