The Liko Original Sling is a basic sling model that offers a simple, comfortable, and secure lift support for both patient and caregiver. Easy to apply and remove, the Liko Original Sling adapts to the patient without any individual adjustments needed when correctly fitted. Its design allows the patient to use their arms and offers leg support options. The fabric is reinforcement-free and supports soft-padding for pressure-sensitive patients.

The OriginalSling is offered in different sizes; always make sure to use the correct size to achieve the highest level of comfort and safety the patient needs. A sling which is too large increases risk of patients sliding out of it, while slings that are too small will cause discomfort.

Liko OriginalSling is available in different fabrics. When the sling will not be left in the chair/bed after completed transfer, we recommend the version in polyester, which is very pliable to work with and durable. For those who leave the sling in the chair after transfer and who want an alternative that allows for airflow, use mesh polyester. For bathing and showering, the plastic-coated mesh version allows water to pass through and wiped dry.

Liko OriginalSling is also available in several versions of leg supports; Reinforced leg supports is the most common design. It provides a high degree of comfort, distributes the pressure and prevents the leg supports from creasing under the thighs. Fabric leg supports without reinforcement make the sling more pliable and easy to care for. Soft-padded leg supports are available for especially pressure-sensitive patients.
