What a nice, lightweight transport chair, handy for the person pushing and comfortable for the person riding. (I want a steering wheel to control my husband's actions, but I haven't found one of those yet.) My teenaged daughter had no problem removing it from the trunk and setting it up, even though she is a very slender girl. The chair provides me with plenty of room to tuck my purse and packages beside me for safekeeping, and I am still very comfortable. The price is a bargain compared to other chairs out there, but at no time do I feel that this a "cheap chair." I has been been in and out of cars hundreds of times, all over shopping malls, museums, airports and has gotten me to hundreds of places that used to be off limits. My only gotcha is that the hand brakes on the chair could be a whole lot sturdier. Even though we never use the chair outdoors or on rough terrain, the brakes failed within a year. My other suggestion is for other users: this chair has no seatbelt. I don't need one to go around the mall, but there are other people who could use the extra help a seat belt provides. At one time, we considered buying a second chair, one for each car, but the chair is so lightweight and easy to move between cars that it wasn't necessary. All in all, this was a terrific purchase: durable comfortable, and lightweight.
