The Drive Suction Cup Grab Bar is lightweight, portable and quickly and easily installed on virtually any smooth surface with no tools- no holes to drill. The grab bar provides assistance and added safety to the home or when traveling. The Suction Cup Bath Bar can be used on a shower wall, in the bath mounted on the tub, for use as a temporary towel bar, near a chair or stairwell for assistance when standing or climbing stairs. The release levers make installing and removing the suction cup grab bar simple.
The suction cup grab bars are to be used as balance assist only. They are not for body weight leverage.
This product requires a smooth flat surface - with no grout lines. We suggest at least 5"x5", i.e. small tiles do not allow proper suction.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
[...] There is no way to position this product on tile and have it remain secure. I am an extremely dissatisfied customer.
