Comments about ActiveCare Medical Spitfire Series 3-Wheel Scooter:

I purchased this scooter to use for travel only as I already have a Pride Celebrity heavy duty scooter for extended usage. It is lightweight enough for me to handle without help but it sets too low to the ground and gets hung up on door thresholds. I have to get off scooter and push thru doorways; then get back on. It has "died" on me numerous times and I've had to take it apart; check all connections & battery; then put back together. Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't. Have had several experts look at it and all agree that the battery tends to lose power quickly and has to be "reseated" if you hit a bump that can cause the battery to move slightly. I would only recommend this model to those who plan to use on flat surfaces. And it is typical of the model as I have encountered several other persons in theme parks having the same issues as I have experienced.
