The Rigid Sock Aid is made of high-temperature plastic, which provides more rigidity for compression stockings or support socks. The Cord Model features a soft braided, nylon cord handle. The Foam Handle Model features built-up cushioned handles for those with grasping difficulties. Includes a foam disc that prevents the sock from sliding off prematurely.

I have fibromyalgia and find getting dressed in the morning a real chore until the stiffness leaves my body. Putting on socks was impossible and caused a great deal of pain. This sock aid has solved my problem completely. I can put my socks on with very little effort and no pain. A much better way to start the day.

All sock aids are not created equal and our uses based on disability aren't either. This particular style makes me totally independent to put on my socks. I will get around 14 - 18 months use before replacing. None better for me!
