Comments about Drive Cruiser III 35 lbs. Wheelchair:
I have owned this chair for over three years with no problems at all. I am an amputee and use it to get around my home when not wearing my prosthesis and when I go out for trips involving a lot of walking. This chair is not actually meant for rough terrain, but has been used that way at festivals. It has been used on sidewalks, in the street and on grassy areas. Not necessarily easily, but it has served its purpose and I would buy another when the time comes
Comments about Drive Cruiser III 35 lbs. Wheelchair:
My rental chair was too heavy and I had to fold the seat down on my Kia and the family could not travel in the car. This one is lighter and shorter in height and width and fits. My rental went back and this will be cheaper. I can go to the casinos now, I am happy.

Replaced my hand-me-down Invacare with the Cruiser III, every bit the quality level as the Invacare with better features, love the lighter weight, flip back arm rest, adjustable height armrest is great for those visits to restrooms and need the extra cane support from the chair. Moma my caregiver enjoys the lighter weight compared to the INVA. [...]

Comments about Drive Cruiser III 35 lbs. Wheelchair:
I need this wheel chair to get around my apartment and hopefully will not be using it forever. It is sturdy, well made and comfortable, but...... the black wheels are making a mess of my kitchen floor. They leave marks and just gray spots all over the floor and on my rugs as well. They clean up - not great - but between washing the kitchen floor and vacuuming the rugs it looks terrible. I wish there was something that could be done about this negative. Otherwise it is a great value.

I use this product to travel to doctor, I have foot drop on one leg. This chair is great, good value and easy to control. If you have long legs, lower the foot rests.

Comments about Drive Cruiser III 35 lbs. Wheelchair:
We are extremely disappointed in this chair. It tipped over twice on the sidewalk, and was flimsy in its construction. When we travelled with it, the rubber fell off the rims, and we were stranded to find a taxi. We think this was a poorly constructed chair which did not meet any outdoor needs. [...]

Weight and bulk satisfactory for elderly caregiver to store in car trunk.
Comments about Drive Cruiser III 35 lbs. Wheelchair:
One of the large wheels cracked almost immediately after purchase. On the good side, it was promptly replaced by the manufacturer. More recently the front wheel shaft bent, rendering it unsafe to use. Shortly after that happened, my husband (the user) died, so I guess it will just gather dust now until I get around to selling it or giving it away. It was a reasonably-priced wheelchair, but not very durable nor sturdy.

Comments about Drive Cruiser III 35 lbs. Wheelchair:
My family purchase this wheelchair for my 94-year-old grandmother to use on a daily basis. I am her primary caregiver and while the wheelchair was wonderful when first received it is not so wonderful now a little bit more than six months later later. I've noticed a black residue from the wheels left on the floors. I now feel that the wheelchair is unsafe for because the locks no longer work on it. Early on I had to replace the front wheels because they bent under her weight. This wheelchair was rated for 350 pounds my grandmother is less than 100. I am very disappointed in this product [...].
