This is a great lightweight transport chair for light use, but does not wear well with heavy use. We use the chair to transport my mother every day, and after a year we are getting ready to buy a better constructed model. The foot pedals became loose with wear and do not stay in the fold up position to allow easy entry and exit from the chair. The front of the arm connection is held by friction into the front post of the chair and those have worn to the point that they flop out when the chair is folded or unfolded.
We found it useful to place a pillow on the chair to give more comfort to my mom and to raise her posture. For the short term or with light use it would be a very good chair.

This is a lightweight, easy to store transport chair requiring someone to push the occupant. It alternatively has served as a walker. The one very minor annoyance is that the handles are separate and can get lost at the bottom of the carry bag.

This chair is made like many of the now-available-everywhere folding chairs you take on picnics. Except it's got the wheels, leg holders, breaks, and push handles in the back. Nicely made. However, being rated for 225 lbs and getting an averaged-size person in the chair are incompatible. The rigid bars that attach to the armrest prevented me from being able to sit in the chair. I had several other people try. Two people on the thin and skinny side (115 and 120lbs) could get in the chair but both thought it was a tight fit across their legs. So, despite reading all the favorable the reviews, it never occured to me that I would not fit in the chair. Seems most suitable for a child or a very tiny adult. I found only the one-size chair with no mention of small, medium or large. [...]Marketing and sales info should be revised to save you from purchasing if your legs are too big to get thru the side polls.
I would buy this product again and again

This chair has made a wonderful difference in the abililty to manuever my father. My mother, and the caregivers who help her, have all praised how easy it is to use. One caregiver actually is ordering one to make it easier to attend to some of her clients. We found out about transport chairs from a friend. We're glad we followed up and made the decision to try yours.

We use this chair for both mothers. It can be popped in the trunk and folds out in a jiffy. My mom spent 4 hours in the chair when we took her to the fair, if it hadn't been for the convenience she would not have been able to attend and enjoy the fair. I've had several people stop to ask where we had purchased the chair.

We really like the chair but we would like it more if the chairs arms were more rigid. The person who is using this chair is not very strong and has a hard time getting in and out because she does not feel safe using the arms for help.
Thanks for the portability.

Can now take a transport chair and still have room in the car. Also, great on trips -- can take on plane as overhead carry-on.
Do wish it had peddle in back to raise front wheels for curbs. Also, a little unstable if the passenger leans forward and pusher doesn't hold onto handles.

My grandson broke his leg, he had a cast up to his hip, so we needed something we could handle as we cared for him over the summer. This item was perfect, except that because of the light weight, when he leaned forward, he found himself on the floor because the chair shot out from under him.

The only good thing is the compactness of this product and I really don't like being so negative about it, but I must be. The first time my mother tried to get up from the chair, it went forward and dumped her on the parking lot. I find the only way to keep that from happening is to bear down heavily on the back of the chair while she stands up. Even with the brakes on, I still must do this. Any small bump in the sidewalk and she will again be dumped. It's impossible to use the chair on anything other than a smooth flat surface. Over the lawn? No. It's very dangerous there. For [$] I didn't expect the best wheelchair around. I just wanted a safe one.

We used this chair for a woman that can walk, but we were going to altitude and wondered how she would do. She really needed the chair. The only complaint would be if I had to go over a grove in pavement, I had to turn around backwards. If I did not I felt like I would spill the rider out forward.

I have a standard Invacare wheelchair but this chair is more useful indoors and in tight spots like not so handicapped accessible bathrooms!
I don't go anywhere without both chairs!
My only warning is that a patient/user must be careful that the chair doesn't collapse if used inappropriately due to lack of balance or strength in transferring the patient.

Mom goes on our annual cruise with us. She enjoys the time with the children and grandchildren. Our shore excursions would have been too much for Mom to walk so that she could be with us. With her "chair" she was able to go everywhere and do everything we did. What a blessing!! Thank you for making our vacations even better since Mom can enjoy them with us. She had a tough life and it is fantastic to be able to do this for her.
