I recently purchased this product for my husband. As a caregiver, I love the lightness and ease of folding. I can literally toss it into the car, and then pull it out and unfold it while walking around to the passenger side of the car. The seat belt doubles as a convenient shoulder strap.

My husband says that the chair is comfortable enough, although I am unsure whether that would be true for longer trips. He has expressed frustration with the transport chair form. We would both love to see a full size wheel kit made available for this chair. That would make this the perfect travel chair.

Also, I think that the foot rest and even the chair, could easily be made height adjustable so that the passenger does not have to feel so much like they are in a stroller. My husband is 5'10" and his knees look a little high to me in the foot rest.

Our design wish list notwithstanding, we think this chair is a lightweight joy for travel.

We have an electric chair but this chair has given us more freedom. It is easy to use and store. I can now take my mom out more and will be using it to travel. Cannot take the electric chair on a plane. Love the Freedom

The Pride Super Lightweight Transport chair is so easy to fold and place in the car. I am 77 yrs old and I use it to take my 52yr. old son out to restaurants and shopping. The flip back arms make it easy for my son, who is paralyzed on his left side, to get in the car with ease. The chair is strong and sturdy and it's easy to maneuver. And with it's bright blue striped colors it has gotten many raves! I would heartily recommend this product to everyone who needs it.
