Rolling over the metal will always make more noise than rubber, but for the money these ramps are a great value. I use 3 of them one each of my ouside and patio doorways. My ramps are 3 inch and 4 inch and are very easy for me to use with either my wheelchair or walker. They are very sturdy and I feel safe using a heavy power chair. Good quality product.

This ramp has given me the freedom to get out of my home without any help. My husband says he likes how it is made. It is kind of tongue and groove and yet can go straight or angle a bit for your needs. We will definately be purchasing more. My only issue is my ATM needs new tires, so they slide a bit. lol We would highly recommend!

We've install about eight of the EZ-Access Threshold ramps in the past two years on entrance thresholds. They are engineered great with a beveled plate and a flap on the top side to give a final fit without gaps. The installation is a snap and you can fit sections together for the exact threshold height. If using for inside thresholds you need two, one for each side.

Was able to support the weight but was to steep for my wife's particular motorized chair

1-800-Wheelchair Response: We encourage everyone to measure the rise of their door’s threshold. As mentioned above, if the ramp is too steep; the ramp will not work properly.

Doesn't Work
By Still StuckVerified Purchaser from LA on 10/24/2007
Pros:
Good Value
Cons:
Doesn't Work
Best Uses:
I don't
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It doesn't fit any of the door jambs in my house. It goes up one small level, but all the doors have two levels, then another down the other side. I assumed a doorjamb product would get my chair over the doorjamb and thru the door. No such luck.

Ramp works great and easy to install
By BillVerified Purchaser from Lafayette, LA on 10/22/2007
Pros:
High Quality
Cons:
Noisy when walked on
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Easy to install. Sturdy, but I find it noisy when walking on it. Otherswise, a good product at a reasonable price.
