I purchased this scooter without really knowing what I needed at the time. This scooter is sharp looking, durable and easy to use. I was told to not charge the battery until it is in the red but find that if I didn't, I would be dead in the water. I have a bone infection in my right foot so depending on how it heals I might be using this for a long time. If the battery is charged you do have a good speed. I believe that it tends to slow down when outside compared to using it in doors. All in all I would buy it again. To explain the difficult to transport remark is really my problem and not the scooters. I have a vehicle that can only have a class 1 hitch and the weight of the scooter and the hitch can not be over 300 lbs. PLEASE check on all areas before purchasing any scooter. Make sure that you can get it from place to place. The insurance companies will NOT help to purchase a lift for your car because they are stupid.
