Comments about Clarke Healthcare Legacy Posture Promoting Rollator:

Over the six or so years I've used a walker, I purchased a fleet of about six walkers and tried many others. I've found that they are not designed by therapists. You see people hunched over their walkers because the handles are too low and their knees hit the seats. My hip flexors have weakened and my walking has deteriorated despite my best efforts. This walker enables me to walk upright. It must be used with the seat raised, however, for full gait range. I'm 5'5" and bought the standard size when I should have bought the lower size in order to use the seat comfortably. Also, it would be nice to have this same walker in a light weight model (maybe with smaller wheels?) so that I could have one I could lift in and out of my car by myself. Excellent brakes which I don't overuse like I did with my last walker that rolled too easily. This walker also has a simple little device by the wheel that assists in raising the front wheels when going up a curb. Why don't all walkers have this?
