No, I would not recommend this to a friend
This walker allows for a lot of rotation of the wheels, which for an unstable user makes it difficulty to control and they easily sway side to side (Right to left). The front wheels have "locks" on them so that the wheels do not turn, but it only stays locked for a few feet and then the wheels are turning again.
