The U-Step Walking Stabilizer was designed specifically to address the unique needs of those with various neurological conditions, including: Parkinson's Disease, ALS, Stroke, PSP, Multiple Sclerosis, Brain Injuries, Balance Disorders, MSA. The U-Step Walker has proven effective in enhancing the quality of life, and futhering independence for people with these disabilities.
Users feel as stable with the U-Step Walker as they do while holding onto another person's arm. The unique U-shaped base provides a stable foundation for the unit, as the user is braced in every direction nearly eliminating the risk of falling.
Most individuals can safely walk three to four times faster using the U-Step Walker, compared to using a standard walker. The wheel configuration allows the user to turn around easily and safely in an area as small as 29 inches, and at only 22 inches wide, users can easliy walk through narrow doorways. The patented spring-loaded front caster system glides easily over uneven surfaces, such as indoor molding strips and cracks in the sidewalk. This avoids sudden jolts as well as the use of energy in lifiting a walker over small obstacles.

Wow! Totally made for balance issues. It alone allows me to walk without help. I trust this walker! Bottom-weighting is the secret. I use it inside the house only to keep the house clean. Dead-man brakes are awesome. Seat is wide and stable.
