The Pilot rolling cane provides the support of a quad cane with a unique wheeled base which allows weight to be continuously applied. This alleviates the need to lift the cane to move it forward. The rolling cane was designed by a quad cane user to provide for easier and smoother walking. Innovative second and third handles positioned lower on the cane assist the user in rising from seats and toilets using less arm strength. The brake is automatically applied when either handle is pressed.
The cane's wheels allow weight to be continuously applied for smooth movement and better balance. The user does not need to pick up the cane while walking. For some users, this may alleviate the need for a walker.

I have MS and my main symptom is balance problems.
This cane gives me something to hold on to, while allowing me to walk at a steady pace. Because it fits easily into the car, it's exactly what I need, especially when I go places with friends. The only thing I would change about it would be to make the wheels bigger and wider. I know that would probably make it a little heavier and larger, but I wouldn't mind. On anything other than a smooth surface you almost have to use it like a non rolling cane.
Otherwise it's great! It goes with me everywhere and someone almost always stops me to comment on it and/or ask where I go it.

This cane has given me back my security in a crowd and I can keep up w/ the friends I'm with. It lets me do the walking I want to do w/ the security of not being knocked over.
The only two things I would change are the break area (palm) gives me callas after awhile and I would love to be able to collapse it for under the airplane seat or movie theater etc. OTHERWISE, I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! I've had many people stop me and ask where I got it, including 2 occupational therapists.
