With over 20 years in business, the team has encountered just about every question and situation. Over that time, the team has learned that there is no one perfect wheelchair for every situation, so we broke out our suggestions by category. We looked at features, product reviews, price points and customer feedback. We plan to update this list as we identify new categories and find new products. So...without further ado and in no particular order...here's they are...
Chris shared his experience, I work in a hospital and maintain everything from x-ray to wheelchairs. When I saw the wheelchair my grandfather was previously using I became worried that it was going to fail. I knew that it needed to be replaced.
He continued with ...I purchased the tracer ex2 because, from my experience, I've found these chairs are very durable and easy to maintain if they need it. Invacare is a great brand and I highly recommend it. One suggestion I do make is that if the person who is going to use the chair is tall or a little wide get the wider chairs so they are more comfortable. My grandfather loves his so much he actually got another for everyday use at the nursing home. As a technician and a family member I could not recommend a better chair for the price.
Bios Living Economy Wheelchair - Low Cost Alternative
Donna F says,This chair has made my life much easier when going out. It's light weight, so it's easy on my husband, who has to lift it into our SUV. It's also very easy to maneuver in tight places.
Margert M had this to say, I bought this chair because I was taking my mom to Disneyworld, and this was way more convenient than trying to rent a chair at each park. It performed beautifully, was easy to transport, and felt sturdy yet flexible. I would definitely recommend this chair!
Excel Aluminum Transport Chair with 12" Rear Wheels
Billy had this review, I'm a 6ft., 300lb guy. This is the first chair that I have found that is big enough for me. I use it without the footrests. I carry it, folded, in the side door of my van. It's easy to grab and go. I also use it to roll around my garage and yard. I also have a power chair, but use the wheelchair most of the time.
Here is Lily Rose's review, Diagnosed with Schleroderma and RA has made shopping very painful and impossible in big stores. The electric carts are too big and clumsy for most crowded stores. This wheelchair is perfect in every way! It is heavy duty, maneuvers smoothly, and is exactly as advertised. I nearly cried with relief when it showed up on my deck.
300 lbs Weight Capacity - Excel K1 Extra Wide
Brandon had this review, The chair came quickly and exactly the way I ordered it. ...it rides SO smooth compared to my old chair. I love it.
Mike filed this review, I'm a 43 yr old paraplegic. The quickie 2 has proved itself a solid performer with great quality construction. It's both durable and lightweight. I just it everyday and could not be happier.
David include this in his review, What's impressed me most about it is the price (by far the lowest of the ultralight weights) without sacrificing quality and the level of attention given to features and engineering details.
Here is part of Richard's review, It is so easy to fold and load and manipulate. My partner's girl friends can even use it when taking her out. Thank You for such wonderful product.
Karman Ergo Flight Wheelchair
Mary had this to say, after a few years of service, this chair is still functional and has had no rust or tears in the seat. Our son uses the 18", it has fit him well.
The Mariner is a good solid, well-built shower wheelchair. It has never let us down or caused problems, except for the sharp leg rest receptacles when the leg rests are off.
Heavy Duty Shower/Commode Chair - 400 lbs Weight Capacity
Bette had this to say, Great for every day and especially for travelling. I just returned from a trip. This was the first time I had used my new Rollz Rollator. It was very handy and easy to use. I could go from using it as a walker and within 30 seconds could turn it into a wheelchair. The cover for it was amazing and it came through being checked in the baggage compartment with flying colors.
Here is Susan's review, My son has cerebral palsy and gets tired easily. The walker quickly converts to a wheel chair so he can sit when he needs to. It's lightweight, well made and attractive. It fits in the trunk of my two seater car.
