Welcome to 1800wheelchair.com
      2013 Scholarship Home Page

It is with great pride that 1800wheelchair announces our twelfth scholarship awardee – Mr. Anthony Gordon. Again, we broke another record. We received our largest response yet; over 400 students submitted poems. Anthony is a completing his second year of studies at West Los Angeles College. Previously, he attended Arizona State University. Anthony wrote an inspiring poem; you can read his poem here. He's focusing his studies on the Biological Sciences with an eye toward medical school after graduation. When asked how he'll use the award money, Anthony mentioned putting the "$500 toward books and supplies." Everyone at 1800wheelchair.com wishes Anthony the best of luck.
