Airline Approved Electric Mobility Scooters

In this category we selected all the electric mobility scooters that are approved by the FAA to be taken on an airline for travel.

Airlines allow for electric scooters to be checked in on an airplane. These scooters are approved by the FAA because they fit in either of these two requirements.

Sealed Lead Acid (AGM and Gel) - all the scooters in this category have sealed batteries and will not spill. These batteries can be left attached to your mobility scooter when checking it in as luggage.

Lithium-Ion - Scooters with lithium batteries need to be disconnected from before checking in your scooter.
