Description
UV-C lights have been proven to kill Bacteria SARS, MERS, MRSA, Ebola, norovirus.
The UV-C Disinfection Desktop Lamp by Larson electronics can disinfect viruses and bacteria found on delivery boxes, household items, electronics, tools, equipment and work devices. This unit offers UV-C output at a range of 200nm - 280nm (253.7nm) and comes equipped with an adjustable neck.
The sunlight that reaches us is made of three types of rays UVA - Long Wave, penetrates and can cause damage (cancer) to the skin 315 to 400 nm UVB - Short wave, will also damage the skin 280 to 315 nm UVC - Does not penetrate the ozone - and will not damage our skin 100 to 280nm
NOTE: Do not touch the bulb with bare hands. The oils in your skin will damage the lamp. Fingerprints will result in reduced performance and significantly reduce the lifespan of the lamp unless they are removed with alcohol.
