The Varilite Reflex is a non-adjustable cushion of choice for wheelchair users with a risk of tissue breakdown. It's set amount of immersion conforms to the client’s body, providing comfort and added stability. It is ideal for nursing homes, hospitals and other clinical environments where an effective, low maintenance skin protection wheelchair cushion is required.
The Reflex foam has functional areas created by two types of foam and an area of perforation. Firm foam is used for the perimeter and the medial thigh separator, and medium foam is used for the thigh troughs and pelvic bucketing. Perforated foam in the sacral-ischial area provides maximum protection of the decubitus-sensitive area of the ischial tuberosities (ITs). Also, the underside of the cover is a rugged, non-slip material with hook and loop for added security.
It is also designed with Air-Foam Floatation that combines the best properties of air and foam to offer superior skin protection. The air supports the load, while the foam keeps the air where it’s needed and provides stability. The foam conforms to the user, and the user’s weight is distributed over the surface of the cushion.
The Varilite Reflex Cushion built-in air-release device (patent pending) automatically releases a portion of air when the user sits on the cushion. The air-release device allows a fixed amount of immersion and prevents bottoming out. When weight is taken off the cushion, it automatically re-inflates.

The warehouse processing times are listed on each product page. These are set by vendors, warehouse standards, and cannot be shortened. These fulfillment times happen *before* expedited shipping occurs. Expedited shipping is not guaranteed and is 100% subject to the shipping carrier's timeline and responsibility. All expedited shipping fees once paid are non refundable once an order ships.
White Glove Delivery Service where available can add an additional ten (10) business days to the delivery of an order. Once the order ships, White Glove delivery cannot be removed, and the order cannot be cancelled. If the item is no longer wanted, returns can be arranged if within the applicable return policy requirements, and by requesting a Return Authorization number. All normal return shipping and restocking fees will apply. The White Glove Delivery Service fee is nonrefundable once the order fills and ships.
